New students of Syiah Kuala University (USK) received an in-depth introduction to My USK, a super app designed to integrate all campus services.

This material was delivered by Dewi Suryani Sentosa, S.E., M.E., who is a Lecturer in Islamic Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Business and Sustainable Funds at USK, at the PAKARMARU event at AAC Dayan Dawood, Wednesday, August 13, 2025.

In her presentation, Dewi explained that the My USK app will be a key tool for students throughout their studies. It is also expected to simplify all administrative matters, allowing students to focus more on academics.

"Going forward, My USK will be very useful for students' needs, from attendance management and class schedules to graduation registration and tuition fee payments," he explained.

More than just an academic service, My USK also offers unique features that support students' entrepreneurial spirit. This app offers students business opportunities with a unique e-commerce concept within the university environment.

"There's business potential in My USK, which you can use to sell products," he added, opening up opportunities for students to start businesses at an early age.

The presence of My USK places USK as one of the leading universities in Indonesia in adopting digital technology. This demonstrates USK's commitment to being an innovative and leading university in digital services.

"Not all universities have this mobile app. The first was UI, followed by UGM, and the third was USK, called My USK," Dwi explained.
